About Product Features
Q: What are the main features of your Inclino-Robot?
A:
1) Automation: Data collection and transmission are fully automated and can fully replace flexible inclinometers(Shaped Array);
2) Accurate: The test principle is the same as a manual inclinometer, and it can achieve a 0.5-meter distance interval measurement;
3) Cost-effective: Low costs of purchase, operation, calibration and maintenance;
4) Easy operation: Installation is quick and easy(1 person could handle it within 1 hour).
Q: How long or deep can I monitor with this instrument?
A: Measurement range: 0~100m
Q: What interval does the Inclino-Robot measure at?
A: It measures at a 0.5m interval.
Q: How long does it take to monitor a deep borehole?
A: It depends on the depth of the borehole, 15 mins for 30m depth, 22 mins for 40m, 33 mins for 50m, and 48 mins for 70m depth.
Q: Can it be set to send out data at the required interval?
A: Yes.
Q: How many projects have this Inclino-Robot been used for and how many numbers?
A: In 2024, there are about 6 projects, with more than 40 pieces of equipment.
Q: How long can the Inclino-Robot last?
A: If the monitoring period exceeds two years, replace parts based on mechanical wear. Parts within normal wear limits can be used for up to three years.
Q: Is there any test to compare Inclino-Robot monitoring results with manual inclinometer prob results?
A: Yes, the results from Inclino-Robot and our manual measurements have shown no significant differences. Here are the comparison results: Comparison of Inclino-Robot Monitoring and Manual Inclinometer Monitoring Data
Q: How about the accuracy and error, do you have a comparison with another kind of inclinometers like IPl or SAA?
A: With compactness, easy operation, cost-effectiveness, etc., it works based on the same concept as other conventional types of inclinometers, except that the sensor goes up and down as controlled by an electric motor. Therefore, the accuracy is no different from the traditional method. Here is the comparison between Inclino-Robot and manual inclinometer
Q: What is the output we get from the Inclino-Robot prob?
A: Raw Data including the tilt angle and displacement of each depth.
Q: What is the power supply of the Inclino-Robot? Is it rechargeable or solar-powered?"
A: It's chargeable using external power, and we also configure it with a solar panel.
Q: What type of product do you have?
A: We now have automatic inclinometer: lnclino-Robot-IRA and lnclino-Robot-IRA-S with waterproof feature
Q: What is the voltage of the direct external power supply?
A: It is 18V. It can be powered by local household electricity, which varies in voltage. An adapter compatible with the local voltage is required to provide a direct current of 18V to charge the Inclino-Robot.
Q: Can a mobile network like band 28,700 Hz be done on the Incino-Robot?
A: Yes, We do different bands network according to different countries
About Installation and Usage
Q: How to install the Inclino-Robot
A: Follow the steps or refer to the detailed tutorial here
1) Setting Up Composition and Installation Configuration
2) Installing the Counterweight Block
3) Wiring High-accuracy Inclinometers
4) Lowering the Sensor for Accurate Measurement
Q: Do you offer installation for your instruments?
A: We provide online guidance, and we can provide on-site installation services if you require.
Q: How long the battery can last without charge?
A: It depends on the monitoring depth, monitoring interval, and frequency.
The solar power is 40 watts. Take 40m with 0.5m intervals for instance, 3d for 1-hour frequency, 7d for 3-hour frequency, and 15d for 6-hour frequency.
Q: Can the Inclino-Robot be recycled and reused in the next borehole?
A: Yes
Q: How’s the performance of the Inclino-Robot in projects?
A: The monitoring data is stable and good. The depth is about 40 meters, and the deepest is 69 meters.
Q: Can we get one sample for testing purposes?
A: Yes. We can send you one unit for your testing, and you can process the payment after your testing with satisfaction.
Q: To program monitoring interval, it must be physically on the device or can be done remotely also?
A: Initially set on the device, then accessible remotely.
Q: How is the yearly calibration done?
A: The sensor can be disassembled separately and sent to a local professional measurement institution for calibration.
